PLACITO LIMITED is a Ghanaian registered limited liability company established in 1984, as Tapes and Cards Ltd with a vision to become the leading greetings card retailer in Accra, Ghana. The company name changed to Placito Enterprises in 1987. In 1995, Placito was registered as a Limited Liability Company with a vision to become the leading specialty gifts and greeting cards producer and distributor in West Africa.
The company was set up to market local and imported goods for wholesale and retail. Since its establishment, it has imported and marketed general merchandise, stationary and paper products from the U.S.A., European Union and Asia. Over thirty-five (35) years, Placito has built a reputation as the leading retailer and distributor of Greeting Cards, Gifts and related products in Ghana.
